Educate me about curry

Thanks you guys :frowning:

Now, I have a curry craving, and I forced hubby to run to the store to get what he needed to make me dinner. Menu:

Chicken Tikka
Aloo Matar (thanks for that idea, Panurge - he was looking for something to do with some potatoes that were starting to see)
Rice Pilau (some sort of steamed rice thingie)
Chapatis (griddle bread)
And, he’s making me mango lassi

The only things we didn’t have was fresh coriander and yougurt. It’s strange that we have so many Indian spices around the house (not really, considering it’s my favorite type of food).

I’ll let you know how it turns out!!

Olive

If I’m not mistaken, you’re from NW Ohio, correct? The Toledo area has at least 3 Indian Restaurants that I know of (with reasonable prices and at least one lunch buffet.) and several Thai Restaurants.

Indian curry is great and I love vindaloo curry, specifically (very, very, hot and spicy). But personally, I’m a big fan of Thai Curry which is also supremely easy to make at home due to the widespread availability of Red, Green, and Yellow Thai Curry Pastes that are often available in Asian Groceries and ethnic sections of supermarkets ready to go (just add meat, veg, and coconut milk.). I’d say that’s your best bet to get started in the world of curry. Of course there are also packaged Indian curry pastes available ready to go, it’s just a matter of preference.

No. SE. I’m in Perry County.

You’re phraseology is incorrect:

Man, I love curries does not in any way show proper obsession towards the noun, curries.
The correct phraseology is: Man, I loves me some curries!!!11!!!

As punishment, please diagram the sentence twice, until your brain bleeds, then eats you some curries.
