I’ve been going by the handle Badtz Maru for a couple of years now. I’m not particularly a fan of Sanrio characters, I chose the handle when I couldn’t think of anything and then remembered this funny character at a Sanrio store a friend dragged me into, who seemed to be the only person with a bad attitude in a sea of cuteness. I looked up what his name was and I had a new handle. Badtz Maru has become a bit more popular since I borrowed his name - he’s probably now the third or possibly second most popular Sanrio character, and The Onion reports that he’s Bill Clinton’s favorite. Anyway, I did a search at [images.google.com](http://images.google.com) for Badtz Maru to find a picture of that little penguin and saw that the top row had two pictures of me. I realized that my face has probably been seen by thousands of fans of cute little cartoon penguins. How many out of those thousands (if any) were curious enough to look into the reason why this guy’s associated with Badtz Maru and have looked up my posts on message boards? This gives me a really uneasy feeling. ---

That is pretty damn funny. I’m still laughing. What are the lil’ japenese girls thinking when they pull up you on their searches? They probly think you are assocoated with the actual character. ---

LMAO!!! That’s the damn funniest thing I’ve heard all week! I can just picture a bunch of japanese school children logging in, typing in “Badtz Maru” and then all simultaneous saying, “WTF? Who the hell is this guy?” ---

Yup, time to get a new one… I believe that the handle “Chicken of Bristol” is still open. 😃 Although… it may be easier to deal with 11 year old Japanese girls than rabid Monty Python fans.
