Say I were to come into a few billion pounds, and I wanted to start a new football club, rather than buy an existing one. I’ve got the money to create a magnificent ground, and buy up a squad of world-class footballers. What league could I actually start in, and how many tiers is that below the EPL?

I’m not sure but using [AFC Wimbledon](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFC_Wimbledon) as an example it looks like you’d be starting at the ninth level of the [English league system](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_football_league_system), eight below the Premier league.
