Yes, you are correct. And they may well be phony - they may well be actors who were paid to deliver lines for the ad. Or they may be real people. Who knows.
I don’t believe that. While some number of voter smay be swayed, I believe the majority will reach the correct result here.

It’s not that that post was trying to lay blame or show how we’re all being partisan, just more of a “haw haw, you guys are agreeing with the Republican!” sort of thing.
I dunno, I could be off base. But that’s my best guess as to why he chose those two passages from the article to quote without commentary.
Anyway, I certainly hope common sense will prevail, but unless the truth is speaking as loudly as the bullshit I don’t think you can rely on common sense.
