# Effects of greening the Australian desert?

Or maybe dig a hole and make a frickin’ volcano (using laser beams), which volcano could then produce nice rich volcanic soils.

Well, for one thing, you’re going to kill off all the Makers, so Spice production is going to halt.

Suffice to say, the Guild and Landsraad are not going to be very happy with you. Kanly would ensue, no doubt. Maybe worse, as you’ve already brought Atomics to the table.
