Are some of you doing that thing where you pretend there’s something clever or funny about noticing that a lot of words in English sound something alike?
So, with the egg-within-an-egg: I guess the chicken produced a normal-sized egg, then for some reason, instead of laying the egg, produced more white around it and another shell. Good thing it stopped there.
The hen’s double egg had a yolk, albumen, and an egg inside it.
I expect one year to see real surprise eggs marketed. Somebody will be offering to produce an engagement egg for a fee. The way that would work eeks me out, but I’m sure somebody will do it.
