I never want to hear about Democrats having a “good ground game” ever again in my life. The evidence that any of that door-knocking bullshit matters in a presidential election was always extremely thin (I think I actually once saw a study that, hilariously, found it to very slightly _hurt_ the campaign that does it), but hopefully nobody believes the hype in the future. My fellow liberals are always going to love the idea of ooey-gooey heart-to-heart people-power overpowering the corporate media’s ads or whatever, so it’ll probably come back with a vengeance in two or four years, but I hope I never have to hear about it again. ---

Without Georgia there are 61 meaningful electoral votes left according the map I am looking at. Harris needs **every single one of them** to win, she’d have 271 in total. ---
