Would be based on which party the VP is. So if it’s Dem, then the Dems have the Majority leader. I guess. ---

Question. Can the loser of a Presidential election demand a recount for any reason, or is it dependent on state law? Could Trump theoretically say, “I demand a recount in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania” and the states would have to comply? ---
