In my case I can identify exactly what taught it to me – a freshman philosophy class that challenged my views for the first time and forced me to think about things I was uncomfortable with. The exact moment I became a liberal is harder to quantify, but it happened shortly after I finished my Stats minor, and used the new tools I had learned to critically analyze my prior opinions. ---

This is why I think education needs to be drastically reformed. Teach kids HOW to think (no, conservatives, not WHAT to think) so they can approach all aspects of life critically. Americans’ critical thinking skills are terrible, it seems to me. ---

A little while ago. Everyone else is just wimping out now. I’m especially wondering why the Fox decision desk hasn’t called PA. They called AZ a couple of days ago and, as such, haven’t even been covering the vote count in that state\* but they won’t call PA? \*Votes are still being counted in lots of places, including NY and CA, it’s just that the margins are so overwhelming it’s not a real contest. But it’s still weird to flip to Fox and see them not covering AZ at all, since it’s such a nail-biters on the other networks. ---
