I think the timing of the call was fortunate. Saturday morning, when lots of those most prone to impulsive acts might still be dealing with their hangovers. When people have nearly two full days to get over the first shock while they’re spread out at home. ---

I’m sure they are hearing the cheering. Joe Biden is the slow and steady guy. No flash just quiet competence. Thankfully he has all the play books from the transition to help him put government back together and hopefully get some of the really good people back who left during trump. ---

Curious–is the crowd in the Black Lives Matter Plaza bigger than Trump’s inauguration crowd? As for the portrait: hang Trump’s with a tiny, perfunctory ceremony with the blandest possible language. Don’t give him the satisfaction of attention. Save the attention for his arraignments. ---
