While I don’t agree with people making threats, I hope she was really really scared. I hope she’s still terrified. I’m tired of all this lawless invincibility. ---

I think **mulfoonthief** was being sarcastic. As if to say, Emily chose to publicly mention receiving threats from Democrats, while obscuring the fact that she also received threats from Republicans. ---

I’m sure there will be objections to the electoral votes from PA, MI, WI, GA and AZ when Congress meets in joint session count the EVs in January. It only requires one Representative and one Senator to object. But it won’t make a difference — both chambers have to vote to sustain the objection or else the state-certified electors stand. ---

I think this is wrong. According to reports I’ve read she tried to be very deliberate in her actions and she reached out to a few involved in the 2000 crisis (including Democrats) for advice and feedback. While I disagree with her delay I believe it was made in good faith. Nobody should be scared for behaving in good faith even if it’s incorrect. ---
