We’re about halfway through Election Day, and I haven’t heard a single report of poll watchers, intimidation, people with guns at polling sites…any of that nonsense. ---

If you’re looking for a way to pass the time, may I recommend this fascinating Radiolab podcast, [Bloc Party](https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/radiolab/articles/bloc-party)? It interviews people in small voting blocs who have significant influence in the election. As best as I can tell it’s non-partisan and did not make my blood boil. It’s actually a very human look at what motivates people to vote. ---

Yeah - that’s a good sign! Tho I did ask my wife if I’d be thought intimidating with my vicious attack dog outside the polling place! (35# goldendoodle.) I hate that things have gotten to the point where I expect the worst. Best of all worlds, the day passes w/o major disruptions, and the results are clear enough to withstand challenges. ---

I just got home from work, and my gf is gone, as is her car. There’s a note that she’s giving rides to the polls for people requesting help from the local Biden Campaign group. She reassured me that mask compliance is a must, and she only has four people to escort. ---

I’ll just say that I’ve never had any interest whatsoever in Twitter or Facebook. I’m no luddite. I do use Linkedin. But I don’t care what Uncle Harry had for lunch, and if any of those platforms are your source of news you shouldn’t be allowed to vote. ---
