Oh, agreed. I’m not talking about this particular issue; I’m sure there hasn’t been enough serious discussion for there be any way for him to represent any kind of consensus on this in particular. But in more broad terms, we’ll have to agree to disagree. I think the sentiment “fuck fighting” is a pretty good way to characterize the Trump-era left. ---

Do you mean ‘disagreeing that shooting the neighbors is a great idea’? If so, I hope that despite the noise on the media, when it comes right down to it my R neighbors aren’t going to shoot me, either. Or do you mean ‘not bothering to campaign, donate, protest, or show up to vote’? Because if so, while we won’t know for sure on the last at least until today’s over, all the indications seem to me to be in the other direction. I see one hell of a lot of people on the left campaigning, donating, protesting, and showing up to vote. The first three for the past four years. ---
