> The EC exists by design, because the Founding Fathers were designing a constitutional republic, not a democracy. Personally, I think that the EC delegates should be locked down so that there is no chance of them changing their vote, but that’s just me.

Your second sentence contradicts your first sentence. If the EC delegates are absolutely locked down to reflect the popular vote in each state, then why do they exist? Why not just add up the electoral votes according to the established allocations and get the same result instead of wasting time and money?

> But it’s funny. The election was rigged, and the electoral college was terrible, UNTIL he won. Imagine that. But this is the guy who is still mad that his show never got an Emmy.

> Hint… it didn’t deserve one.

The saddest part of that Twitter fiasco: Trump had no idea that Obama would be miles ahead in the popular by the time the west coast was done voting. How did a 65 year old not know that? I wonder if Trump ever successfully programmed a VCR.

He probably “has people” for that, just like everything else. I hope he paid them for a change. He likes to stiff his people out of what they are owed.
