Electrical pollution IS KILLING YOU ALL!

some of which- by the way- is ionizing radiation…

I don’t get why some people worry about mobile phones when we’ve been practically bathed in radio transmissions for a long-ass time.

Ooh!!

I think he’s suggesting…
Or maybe I misunderstood.

No, you’re spot on thankyou.

I had a (pained) read of the book I first saw this in, and one recommended treatment for electricity poisoning is…

Electro-Crystal Therapy

Future problems?

It also says to have your house dowsed, by a professional dowser. And apparently running water makes the electricity pollution worse, or something.

What do you mean ignore it? I assume whack-jobs wear sunscreen, sunglasses and get their moles checked the same as just about everyone else. I don’t see any evidence they ignore the danger from sun exposure.

So, we can’t withstand even a slightly lower amount?

Heh, you jump on that instead of the 6000 years thing? But Folacin is obviously being factious.

Perhaps you overlooked this. Among other revelations:

Does the person who made that website advocate against the dangers of celphone radiation? If not, I don’t see the relevance.

Like, for example, the entire history of life on this planet? The history of our use of Radio Frequency EM has been a continuing attempt at developing technologies to pull actual signal out of the naturally occurring noise.

I have no idea what else that website’s owner may or may not believe. But I don’t think I’m stretching the limits of credibility when I suggest that believers in one form of woo have a high likelihood of believing in other forms of woo. It’s the Pit, not GQ. Are you really looking for a further cite? I’ve provided evidence that at least *some *whackjobs do not “wear sunscreen, sunglasses and get their moles checked the same as just about everyone else” (emphasis mine). Which I think supports my original contention.

Are you quibbling about my use of the word “totally” in reference to ignore? Will it comfort you if I substitute “mostly”? I suspect, depending on the individual woo believer, either of these may be applicable.

Well, this was just disappointing. I read the thread title as “Electoral Pollution.”

I think I see a business opportunity here. Is there any product on the market that will “filter” the bad EM radiation out, and perhaps another one that you can hook up to your electrical system that will “clean” the electricity before it enters your home?

I mean, I know that people use home-made remedies like copper pots, wrapping themselves in foil, etc., but there is really no substitute for an expensive, nifty looking product with flashing lights is there?

I think this could be worth a lot.

“Wack-jobs” in your original post pretty clearly meant “people that advocate the dangers of celphone radiation”, not just any advocate of any BS medical theory. Pointing out that one group of people says something that contradicts what another group of people say doesn’t really provide much of an argument against the first group.

There isn’t any indication that people who fear celphone radiation ignore the risks from the sun (and even if they did, I’m not sure that would be much of a point against them). Worrying about celphone radiation is stupid, but so is the OP’s attempt at arguing against such worries.

I knew a guy that was paranoid about this sort of stuff, and bought various gadgets to detect E&M fields and minimize the emissions from appliances. So someone is making a bunch of money off of this. (and to be fair, so far as I could tell, the gadgets did do what they said they would, so I guess its not really fraud, even though the health benefits from minimizing radiation don’t exist).

From the link in post #5 and quoted by me in post #9:

Apparently it’s being done.

You and your facts have no place at this table, sir.

I think facetious is my most frequently misspelled word. Not sure why.
