# electroshock...disturbing

today i was watching a program on mtv about gays. one man came out to his family and they made him get electroshock therapy (electroshock therapy is said to cure mental illness)…he is now physically damaged from this and he is still gay…some people are so cruel…:mad:

That is totally horrible!:mad: I can’t believe people would be so ignorant and so uncaring about their child!

you are so correct. it is totally ignorant. i was reminded of is when i read a column in cecils archive about electroshock…i think he should add that it can be a cruel way of torturing someone!:mad:
