> My best guess is that it’s about 9 or 10 feet tall. Been that way dozens of times and never noticed it. This time traffic was crawling about .001 MPH and it caught my eye. Not quite a common garden ornament.

Welp, that is quite big. Wondered if there might be an Indian temple in the area displaying it as auspicious symbol, but no evident candidates.

If we’re just generally listing highway critter monuments, let us not forget [Nibbles Woodaway, the Big Blue Bug](https://www.bigbluebug.com/the-big-blue-bug) of I-95 in Rhode Island.

Dinosaurs are nothin’. How about a [dragon](https://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/14021)?

This guy’s off of I-75 in Tennessee, not too far north of Knoxville, easily visible from the highway. He used to stand beside a fireworks store. The store burned down, but the dragon is still there (or at least he was as of last year, the last time we drove past).

Yeah - my 1st guess was something related to the Showmen’s League. (When I was a kid, one of my old cousins was an old circus man, and several members are buried in a cemetery near my MIL. Plenty of [elephant sculptures!](http://www.showmensleague.org/Showmens-Rest) - NOTE the trunk down.)
