It really wasn’t worth repeating. For someone as self-centered as you seem to think he is, it’s odd considering [how many millions](https://fundraising.co.uk/2018/11/29/251897/#:~:text=Sir%20Elton%20John%20features%2013th,has%20donated%20%C2%A324.3%20million.) he has donated to charitable causes.
