That’s a ridiculous reason to give up a dog, but unfortunately people give up their pets for all kinds of stupid reasons. I don’t think it’s much better when people say they have to give up their pet because they are moving, having a baby, or just “don’t have time” for it anymore, which happens pretty much constantly (just look at your local Craigslist pets section and you’ll probably see dozens of ads with one of those three excuses). ---

Two good old boys went to a UGA football game. One of them noticed that Ugga the bulldog was on the sidelines licking his privates. He nudged his buddy & said, “You know? I wish I could do that!” His buddy replied, “You better not, that dog will bite you!” ---

“Hunched over another dog” is actually the homophobic owner’s cover story. In actuality, he was obliged, as dog-owners are, to express his dog’s anal glands by pinching them. But this time, as he did so, something tingled deep inside his loins. Something forbidding, yet compelling. He felt suddenly free, but just as swiftly terrified. Terrified of this strange, thrilling sensation. ---

You know what’s going to happen; homophobic dog owner is going to get another big scary male dog. New dog is going to do exactly the same thing, try to dominate _another_ male dog, because that’s what they _do_. Homophobe dog owner is going to get rid of new dog, thinking “goddammit, what is with all these gay dogs?” Lather, rinse, repeat. Homophobe owner finally gives up and gets fluffy white cat. ---
