Immediately following the attacks there was a lot of media speculation/assumption that the attackers crossed our border; there wasn’t nearly as much coverage in the American media when Frank McKenna and others debunked these rumours. It’s frustrating but that’s the way it is. Then you get these goofballs in Ontario who sound about as scary as my Grandmother and the media and RCMP start trying to ratchet up the scare level again. ---

Can we get a link to the thread in question? I’d like to go there and tell Elvis about how the attack (staged by people who had not come through Canada), virtually all air travel in North America stopped, trapping some 6500 travellers, many of them American, in Gander, Newfoundland. The locals opened their homes to the travellers. ---
