# email attachment collection

I have a friend that is on many craft lists. She gets tons of email with attachments.

Is their a program that will go through her email and pull the attachments to a certain folder?

She uses outlook express.

If that matters.

[This shareware utility](http://www.download.com/Outlook-Express-Attachment-Extractor/3000-2381_4-10222114.html?tag=lst-0-1) claims to do what you want, but I’ve never tried it and there’s only one user opinion listed (though it is positive). I’d check for spyware after installing it, just to be safe.

Actually, yeah. I was reading the OP and thinking “Huh? Aren’t they already _in_ a certain folder, i.e., the Attachments folder?”

Which is where they’d be if she wasn’t using Outlook.
