# Email notification won't stop

Like some other poster, I got logged out because of the maintenance yesterday. I had to have my password reset, and I took the opportunity to change my listed email address. But now I’m getting emails every time someone responds to a thread I’ve posted in.

I went to my user control panel and have selected “no email notification”, but they keep coming. Anyone else having this problem?

Go to [your subscribed threads](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/subscription.php), tick the box at the upper right corner of the list, select “no email notification” in the dropdown box at the bottom, and hit go.

Did that, as I said. Still getting emails.
