So what is with the rumors, now somewhat old, that Eminem is no longer going to record, but is exclusively going to produce music. Is he really quiting the business?

I heard (yay! Rumors!) that he is just killing his current persona. He’s releasing a final CD that has a track called "The Funeral’ where he kills Slim Shady or Eminem or something.
I dunno.

I thought the rumor was that he was taking a break to produce and not recording for a while - not quitting forever. Or that’s what I seem to remember him saying, anyway.

[The Wikipedia entry about that.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eminem#Retiring_Slim_Shady) Sounds like it revolved around his last album, not a future project.
