For me, it would have to be _Save The Last Dance For Me_ , but when I think of her beauty (see here: [http://www.emmylou.net/](http://www.emmylou.net/)) I wouldn’t care if she sang a song about taking out the garbage, she is beautiful. “I’m in love with you Emmylou, Emmylou And you can scratch my belly anytime it suits you to!” There’s more, but I’m saving it for **her** , sorry! 😃 Thanks, Quasi ---

I know lots of country fans hated it, but fuck it. I fell in love with the Daniel Lanois-produced uber-album _Red Dirt Girl_. Among the standout tracks: _Michelangelo_ and _Red Dirt Girl_. ---

“Bluebird Wine”, a Rondey Crowell song from her “Pieces of the Sky” album is my favourite. Playful, sexy and kick-arse. Slight hijack, but when you think about artists with long careers who have never made a real stinking dog of an album, you gotta think of Emmylou Harris. mm ---

I pretty much like all the tracks and this album is what made me go out and buy a bunch of her earlier stuff. ---

I have to reach back farther for my fav Emmylou selection. Go back to the Luxury Liner CD, while I like all of the tracks - \*Pancho & Lefty \* and _Boulder to Birmingham_ are select ---

I just downloaded 7 of the songs from this album (_All the Roadrunning_) today (not a country music fan, so the twangier/countrier songs I left behind). I’m a Dire Straits/Knopfler fan from way back and was intrigued. The collaboration really works. Good album. If you’ve got iTunes, go listen to the samples. If you like both of them, you won’t be disappointed. ---

[All the Roadrunning](http://www.emmylou.net/) (scroll down to the banner graphic, and there’s also a RealAudio track available) was just released here in the United States. A local radio station has been playing the title track and _This Is Us_, which is a ton of fun. I’m a huge fan of both artists as well and very pleased that they’ve collaborated on an album. I’ll save judgment on _All the Roadrunning_ until I hear the entire album, but Emmylou’s work with Gram Parsons on _Grievous Angel_ is probably my favorite. (and on preview, what **romansperson** said) ---

These Sleepless Nights (Will Break My Heart In Two) …at least I think that’s the name of it. Maybe on Pieces of the Sky. Also Boulder to Birmingham. Her voice is just achingly beautiful on Sleepless Nights. I’ll admit, I’ve had it bad for her since I first heard her singing backups for Gram Parsons, still do to this day, and it’s been over thirty years. What a woman! ---
