Both England and Scotland have completely seperate Premierships. I am not sure what Northern Ireland and Wales call their top divisions, but they are pretty seperate as well.

Also, England are now alloted 4 places in the Champions (hah!)League by UEFA, because of good performances in the past few years in that competition or something. This has led to Newcastle getting into what Sir Bobby probably still refers to as the European Cup. They have to go through a couple of qualifying round though, as do the third placed team.

Thanks for straightening that out for me, I was not totally sure, I don’t follow football that closely.

Amanset, sorry about that, my mistake :smack: I usually just put in UK automatically when talking about things back home so people know. I do know that Scotland and England have completely seperate top divisions.
