Yeah, good example, Tamerlane. Y’couldn’t have, say, trimmed all that down to a paragraph or so? Or even two or three well-chosen words? I’m sure I wooda got the point… 😛 😃 😛 ---

I also wanted to warn you to stay away from my latest monster-sized OP in [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=199573) thread **Tarantula**. It might make your heart stop and head explode. And I don’t wanna be liable for any near-messes on the Dope. 😉 They might just make me clean up. ---

That means that either what you wrote was such shite that no-one gave enoght of a fuck to answer, _or_ they didn’t bother reading such a huge OP. I’ll go with option 2. How does someone even reply to something like Tamerlane’s post above? That’s the biggest problem with long OP’s, that they spawn those evil multiple quote, multiple page point-by-point responses. ---
