OK, I’m curious. Is gentleman’s club a euphemism for something, or are we talking about some posh, leather wingback chairs and wood panelled club where men smoke cigars and harrumph over politics? ---

Btw, the guy making polite conversation with his trousers undone is **Gary** … Guys like this dorky dude are fine in my experience, very sweet but they’re just hopeless with the opposite sex because they’re inexperienced and uncomfortable. And clueless. He’s just a Mr Bean kinda guy. I’m sure if he thought or understood what he was doing was embarrassing or offensive he’d stop right away. After all, Mother wouldn’t approve and, to be fair, he wouldn’t want to do that, either. I suppose I wonder if Ireland may be similar to England in so much as the culture does little to discourage eccentricity in general because people don’t like to offend by mentioning the ‘weird’ behaviour of others. He’ll just carry right on, oblivious, unless / until someone tells him he’s being a prat. **jjimmp** - I know he’s 32 but do you think his mum still cuts his hair ? ---

Well, the seats aren’t leather, they’re fabric, and there’s not a WHOLE lot of politics being discussed (usually), but other adding lots of alcohol, that’s about right.
