re: **kingpengvin** ā€™s observations: Yeah, I hear ya. Itā€™s a pretty weird and fragmented way of constructing a prequel, to start from the end rather than the beginning. I thought that the whole point of this series was to recapture some of the excitement and novelty of the original series (or at least cash in on nostalgia), not to reheat tired leftovers from the later incarnations. But I could have been wrongā€¦ And as far as panda goes, Iā€™m pretty pro-panda myself, but itā€™s not as though the TOS universe was totally sterile and asexual. They COULD have done both panda AND retro, and that would be cool with me. And now, ladies and gentlemen, the one thing of which I wholeheartedly approve in Enterprise: Those awesome blue jumpsuits. _Love_ those. I think the world would be a better place if everone wore bright blue jumpsuits - in fact, when Iā€™m Queen of the World, itā€™ll be law. Blue undies, too. Kn(I just really like blue)ckers ---

**kingpengvin** , as much as I hate TOS, I agree with you wholeheartedly. We already have three shows detailing the 24th Century, its denizens, and its politicsā€¦ we donā€™t need a fourth series and a supposed prequel telling us even more about it, especially when it overlooks the catalyst for the entire franchise that took place in the **23rd** Century. Flesh out the proto-Federationā€¦ try to explain why all that Kirk seemed to run into was humans, Terrans, and Earthlings. Show us the Yang and Kohm planet, Beta Iota, that Nazi planet, and all those other stories. We donā€™t need another goddamn Borg episode. AAAAARRRRGGGHH. ---

Funny that they continually advertised this episode on the Tā€™Panda Needs Nookie angle, since the title (Bounty) indicates that the primary point of the episode is the Archer story. And damn friggin UPN! The show is on now, on the cable channel currently carrying UPN (which they keep frigging moving around), and the stupid UPN feed keeps dying. The show blips out and I get ā€œWeak Signalā€ on the screen for about 5 to 10 minutes at a time, and then the show comes on for another few minutes. Iā€™ve probably missed half of it (or more) so far, and what Iā€™ve seen is not continuous. ARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!! **Monstre Smash!!!** _growl stomp mutter_ ---
