They probably do it like they did in that “binnaum” episode of _Alien Nation_: First, the Cogenitor sticks its special Cogenitation prong into the woman’s birth canal, thereby giving it the enzymes it needs for gamete fusion. Then, the man and the woman do the horizontal lambada, just like normal. (As we all know, all humanoid species in the _Star Trek_ universe have genitalia and orgasmic experiences that make them completely sexually compatible with humans.) ---
