Climax: Are the sensors malfunctioning? Should they go to warp? I like the shot from above whining scene! 🙂 (btw - the Hoshi shower scene was a let down) Phlox’ paranoia is wonderful. Really. Jolene does a pretty good job of stupidity and worrying, too. And Damn! WHEEE!!! Denoument: NOW we see naked Hoshi! But, only fleetingly. Be sure to TiVo it, Tars. I don’t think that’s the same Porthos from season I. Anyone got comparison pics? Phlox takes T’Pol to her quarters where we find a nice little twist. I won’t say what, but it puts the entire episode in a slightly higher catagory than I was gonna rate it. * * * I LIKED it I really LIKED it! This one was a keeper. One of the better ENTs to date. But, we still need to talk about that Tripp/T’Pol/Phlox conversation thingy. When you view ep, you’ll know what I mean. Next week: MUTINY! ---

Great story telling. It did nothing for the arc; it didn’t even have to be a Trek tale; to amuse your captain…(sorry) A great twist on what we expected. The reference to the Zone episode was nice. ---

Yes, it really was well done. Maybe Bergama just need to stick to a simpler story. This one worked because it was Phlox and T’Pol only, mostly keying on Phlox. We got to know a lot about his character’s strrentghs, weaknesses, worries, cares, and inner thoughts. Look who he choose as his major hallucination. Why? He trusts her more than the others? Feels more akin to her as a non human? The human manifestations were mostly patronising or eman. Does that imply what his inner self feels about humans? The Porthos angle was just cute. i like doggie. Oh, **Tars** , **Aes** , there is no naked Hoshi. I was lying. There is a shower scene with her, but you won’t like it. ---

Wow, this is a darn good thread. Very entertaining and I haven’t even seen the ep. yet. Will be back later, of course. **Aes** , I mailed your tape today, after being cracked and crunched at the chiropractor’s. I hope you appreciate the sacrifice made by one who can barely sit, let alone drive. Hell, if Phlox were around and had some Regulan bloodworms or leeches, I’d let him go to town on my strained lower back and my f\*\*\*ed up neck, which keeps making my left arm go to sleep. I still made it to the casino the other day, though. I know what’s important in life. Didn’t win no dough but the buffet shore was good. Medication time, medication time… ---

Boy, do his feet look … unusual though! 😃 Great shots of the Denobulan physique–that backbone even looks sensual. I really enjoyed this episode, naturally – if you hadn’t guessed by now, Phlox is perhaps my most favorite character -and- we got a whole lot of Porthos. I’m definitely a happy camper. **NCB,** I love your recaps, you do an excellent job; so good, I don’t have anything much to add! It was a good nod to the Shatner episode of **Twilight Zone** and the twist at the end had me, that’s for sure. Excellent jobs by both John & Jolene, and a special nod to the doggie who plays Porthos. 🙂 The trailer for next week’s episode looks -great-, btw. WOO HOO! 🙂 ---
