Could the flashback story in _First Flight_ have been more predictable? “Okay, here we go. Oops, setback. Oops again, cancelled. Inspiring speech. Maverick behavior. Success! Called on the carpet, but nobody really gets in trouble, and the ultimate prize is won.” I mean, fuck me with a tri-d chessboard, do they have _chimps_ coming up with this stuff? This would have been a cliche if it were Gil Gerard and Erin Gray acting it out. And for this they hire a Carradine? Feh. ---

He couldn’t quit futzing with his swirly robe. Wilma and this princess chick were in a steamy oubliette thing, and Buck sneaked in, and got himself up to a ceiling vent by setting off a small grenade under his helmet and launching himself upward.
