You’re seriously not familiar with Norse mythology? Asgard is the home of the Teutonic gods (Odin, Freya, Loki, Thor, Balder, etc), who’re collectively known as the Aesir. Or to draw a corollary, the Aesir are to the Olympians as Asgard is to Mount Olympus.
