Has anyone seen it? If not it’s available at [http://www.startrek.com](http://www.startrek.com) What does anyone think? will the new series actually be any good? I am hoping so but not sure (I guess until we see it no can be sure) I though the klingon ship seemed more futuristic than those in TOS . . . The fly eating alian looked intreesting as well . . any thoughts dopers? ---

My immediate thought? “This isn’t _Star Trek_.” After seeing the video, hearing the music, and seeing what the next _Enterprise_ will look like (from another thread), I’m getting less and less hopeful about this series. ---

A friend of mine said it looked like Seaqueast DSV . . . . . Have you got the link to the other thread? One of my concerns is over Dr. Phlox. He’s the alien doctor that doesn’t know much about human anatomy, and according to some websites, reportedly “loves to laugh.” So this guy is a cross between Dr. Hibbert and Dr. Zoidberg? And the preview of his makeup makes him look like Neelix and a Cardassian chick had a love-child. Why couldn’t they just make him an Andorian? ---

God. If it is another Neelix, my interest level has now dropped by 99%. Bastards. Went to check the trailers, but unfortunately, they didn’t have a direct download link. Of course, this AFTER the quicktime plugin bluescreened my computer (it has problems with dual-monitor systems)…maybe later tonight. Not sure if I care any more after reading the previous posts… ---

Foir the record, the butterfly eating blue chick is a “ho’”. Yes, the pilot episode will have humans visit an alien market place, where alien (and Orion!) Pimps will push their goods. ---

Let’s hope so - Most of the trailers I have seen (ever not just Enterprise) have not been indcative of the quality of the film/programm.
