Until about a month or so back, maybe a little more, ET had a young hostess working some of the stories, events, etc. I’m embarrassed to say I can’t remember her name and Googling didn’t help but she’d been there about a year or so, was stunningly beautiful and seemed to be a really sweet kid. Now she’s gone and, worse yet, has been replaced by someone that kinda looks like her but without near the charm. In fact, her replacement is just kinda… _neeh_. I’m sure someone will recall her name. What happened? Why is she gone? ---

Most of the “corresponding” hosts on those entertainment news shows are just the flavor of the week (usually reality show cast offs) or trying to promote themselves for something bigger. I’ve seen Maria M come and go a few times. They always have to mention how she had a photo spread for Maxim or guest-starred in this or that. She’ll probably be back as a guest when she needs to promote a movie or something. ---
