In [this thread](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_117b.html) about why metal seem’s colder than other materials, Cecil (freezin’ his buns off in Chi) seem’s just a little jealous. Hey man, take heart. Your summers suck too. 😃 Anyway, there is a comment here somewhere. Oh, here it is; Metals seem hotter in the summer too. Same phenom? Peace, anonymous. 😉 ---

Sure, it easy to be smug, living in the Bay Area of CA. You wake up, you know it’s gonna be in the 70’s or low 80’s today. You know it isn’t gonna rain. You know that when the sun goes down, it gonna cool off quickly to the 60’s or high 50’s. And so it goes for months on end. Is that anyway to live your life? That’s the reason wives cheat on their husbands and vice-versa. Sameness. Predictablility. Boredom. Set yourself free! Move to Chicago or Akron, Ohio. Lands of Unpredictablilty. Take the plunge!😃 ---

There’s as much a chance of there being actual envy in a CecilColumn as there is of there being no “peace” at the end of one of **mangeorge** ’s posts. 😉 ---
