Chili’s has chili but it’s buried DEEP in the menu like they are contractually obligated to keep it around. ---

A quick perusal of the **Olive Garden** menu reveals no olives in anything on either the appetizer or entree menu. At most, there might be a few black olives in one of their salads. It’s not obvious that anything on the **Chipotle** menu actually has chipotle in it. ---

Years ago, in Toronto, there was a corner place that called itself “Lick’n Chick’n,” in painted-on signs on its windows. If you went in, expecting fried chicken, you found yourself in a coffee shop. Why? Well, it seems that the building owner, who had run the fried chicken place called Lick’n Chick’n, decided to retire, and lease the place to whoever wanted it. But one of the provisions in the lease stated that the “Lick’n Chick’n” signs painted on the windows remain, despite whatever business subsequently occupied it. So a coffee shop guy rented it. He kept to the terms of the lease; and so, if you wanted a good cup of coffee in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood, you headed for Lick’n Chick’n. But if you wanted fried chicken, you were out of luck. ---
