I thought maybe Laura Innes (Weaver) was on the way out since she hasn’t been featured a whole lot this season.

> Didn’t someone here on the boards say in fact this is a lot more difficult? I remember someone explaining that for some reason, when people “mouth the words” rather than speak they tend to do something different and it makes it much more difficult to lip read.

May well be, but she’s right there vigorously shaking her head “No” when your lipreader mistakes “white guy” for “what guy?” or “wheat goy” or “weight gay.”

“What race was your assailant? He was a wheat goy? A gentile, in other words, who ate or trafficked in wheat products, ma’am? That’s wrong? [aside] She says that’s not it. Damn, we’re so close to learning the truth…”

I foresee a meltdown on Jing-Mei’s part. She has been under such a strain, caring for her dad and refusing to send him to skilled nursing. She tells Pratt, “I’d never do that to him.” But she was swearing and being very rough with him, and he had already given her a bruise or black eye a while back.
