# er... what ads?

Just read the rant about gl0worm in the Pit, and I think I’m going insane.

SDMB has ads? where? I don’t ever recall seeing them, and I can’t find them now. I don’t have any adblocking software installed, and I see ads at all the other sites I visit. I’m not complaining, mind you, but I’m very puzzled. I see ads at [www.straightdope.com](http://www.straightdope.com), but once I hit the boards, all I see is the straight dope banner, and the grey buttons: user cp, register, calendar…

Am I staring right at them and missing them? What’s going on here?

ah… nevermind, I see that was a bump of a really old thread. So I assume the ads were removed at some point?
