My favorite sox are ‘catfish’ ones. Pink with pix of a cats head on a fish body. They were a gift and I adore them. (:)) ---

Oh lordy, this job is killing me. I am just catching up with you today. I gotta say, Hilda would not have gotten such obedience out of me. I hate adults who treat other adults like children. But you are sounding so much better, Becks! I think they will break out outta there just as soon as they can. Make your family stop at the store so you can buy crossword puzzles on the way home. Make them feel bad, bad, bad about not aiding and abetting you. And be sure to give Hilda something she dislikes as a “thank you” for helping you get better. Candy corn or some other gawdawful candy. I want your catfish sox. Going to look for them now. ---

_ **this evening’s festivities** _ After a special lunch of KFC, I rested. My snack of a yogurt came. I didn’t feel like eating yogurt. Now, my glucose has been being very good. I couldn’t ask for better. Well I threw an alarm after my supper. It was a lasagna type thing. The sauce was a bit sweet. I had no way of knowing it’s carbs or sugars. My CGM did it’s job. The Nurse ran in. I don’t think she knew what to do with me. I have an insulin pen always with me. (I have a glucose rescue kit as well). I was able to determine what I needed. Got everything fixed. Changed my pump. I’m good to go. I’m right as rain now. I need to trust my instincts on what these people serve me for meals. I swear this place is gonna kill me. We were told no one but essential personnel will be let in. (please, please, please, tell me Hilda is not essential:)) b. responding to alarms of all kinds. ---

Is Hilda’s dumb cousin Henrietta in charge of the kitchen there? Sounds like whoever it was really screwed up on the lasagna. Sweet lasagna sauce is an abomination even for people with normal blood sugar. I hope you do get to go home this week.
