Just a word of advice to **liberty3701** - seriously, when you work yourself into a perpetual outrage over a stupid joke, even if most Dopers might agree it’s kinda offensive, the more outraged you get, the more mercilessly most Dopers, including ones who agree that it could be offensive, will tease you with it. One day a woman came in castigating anyone who might appreciate Nabokov’s LOLITA, book or movie, as approving of pedophilia. In a reasoned discussion, someone suggested her reaction might be a bit ‘hysterical’. .OH. .MY. .GOD!!!. She DID go into hysterics over the use of that word, and the deluge began until she left in a self-righteous snit. ---

Therefore it’s best to call them on it then ignore them. If further posts are necessary it’s best not to acknowledge the troll as a poster lest it encourage further trolling. It was trolling someone else so figured it best to give them a heads up. I’ll start calling it “he” again when it answers my questions instead of bleating it’s mentally defective troll lines.
