So, a woman who studies female penguins would be a sfeniskinistino? How would that be pronounced? It sounds like something people would order at Red Lobster. I think sfeniskisto is the coolest word I’ve heard in a long time. (I assume it is pronounced to rhyme with Dennis-GREECE-toe.) ---

Mr. Cynical: If you mean “cynical” in the English metaphorical sense, it would be Sinjoro Skeptika. If you mean “Cynical” in reference to the Greek philosophers (meaning something more like ‘debauched’), it would be Sinjoro Cinika. Karen: Sfeniskinistino is pronounced /s’fehn-eesk-een-eest-EEN-oh/. Sfeniskisto is pronounced /s’fehn-eesk-EEST-oh/. The most difficult word to pronounce in Esperanto is the word for science fiction, sciencfikcio /st’see-ents-feek-T’SEE-oh/. ---
