… I love you, man! Seriously; If I were gay, I would send Mr. Leather (a fellow Coloradan and a close, personal friend of mine) to seduce Dr. Boyfriend and I would steal you away for myself. But I’m straight, so you’ll have to settle for my sincere admiration, respect, and genuine appreciation for your positive qualities. As someone who truly cares about you, I have to say that your current self-righteous whiny streak is very unattractive. **Get over yourself, bud!** No one here is out to get you. Well, none of the mods, at least. Don’t get defensive. I’m not out to _prove_ you’ve been acting like a jerk lately, I’m just pointing out my perception; if you disagree, I won’t belabor the point. But I would like to restore the perfection of my deep admiration and appreciation for a great guy. 🙂 And if anyone who _doesn’t_ like Esprix posts in this thread, I’ll rip you a new one. **SingleDad** , Your post sounds like it’s so full of conflicting emotions. I can’t tell if a) You want to teabag Esprix, b) criticize him, or c) Defend him from criticism. It sounds like you want to give him some friendly advice, so wouldn’t an e-mail to him have been more appropriate? ---

My sincerest thanks to you, **SingleDad** - I was wondering when I’d get around to getting my own Pit thread. And here I thought it’d be for me sucking cock or something… 😃 Look, I hear you, I really do, and I will fully admit that by Friday last week I was really feeling put-upon - I mean, c’mon, I was getting jumped on left and right. Did I deserve some of it? Hell yeah, but not all of what I got. And, like I said, it all kind of came at once, so I was kind of on the defensive. I didn’t _think_ I was coming off as “self-righteous and whiny,” but maybe I did. (And was I really a jerk?) Mea culpa. Now you get over _your_ cheap sorry self. 😛 (Kidding! Who loves ya!) All last week I was just kind of in a crappy mood for reasons IRL that I’m not about to open up here (suffice it to say, change is in the wind for me). Actually, in a weird sort of way, I felt like a crochety old-timer - almost like **Wally** 😉 So I vented a little here. (Hell, if you remember, one of my very first posts on this very board was venting in a very un-me like way - go read the very old and very dead “homophobic bigots” thread, and I guarantee you wouldn’t recognize me from it, at least in the beginning. It was that thread that helped me shape myself on this board.) So I’m not arguing with **Tuba** for deleting **Otto** ’s comment any more nor asking about the rules of the Pit, and **Snark** and **peaches** have heard everything I have to say. Any other loose ends you were referring to I need to clean up? Oh, and evidently there _are_ people out to get me - seen the user name S-pricks yet? Scary. Plus **OgreFade** has a boner for me and won’t stop IMing me on AOL. Seriously, you needn’t worry about me. We all go through ebbs and flows like this. It’s passed. I remember making a comment to the effect that all the good and handsome men were taken or gay once. (It was actually an oblique compliment duh) Apparently I was right. I saw your pic on “Men of the SD” today. 😃 Sometimes when you post here, I can almost hear your voice as I’m reading…you express yourself well!
