(zoogirl starts, looks up, sees the ball of flame flashing over the crowd and jumps quickly behind her tree. She cautiously pokes her nose out and picks up her book. It’s singed, but still readable). Wow! What was that! Did they drop a bomb?! Oh! Hey Esprix. watch where you throw those fireballs! Say, that was a GOOD one! I sure gotta agree with you on your opinion of Dalovin and the definition of “Hip” I figure there’s gotta be more to being Hip than getting as bombed as possible. Maybe I’m mistaking Hip for Cool. You see I think Cool is the ability to handle yourself with class and style in any situation. It can mean being up on whats in, but it’s more than that. It’s knowing that you’re always doing it right, always in control. Somehow, what Dalonin is describing seems pretty out of control to me. Now don’t take it that I don’t like Dalovin-I mostly do. I just don’t think he’s the only one who’s opinion counts. I suspect that I’m probably older than most Dopers, but I just think Dalovin is kinda, well, juvenile. (zoogirl takes off her “Schoolmarm” mask and goes back to normal) Hey, do I hear crickets?! Ya know, I’ve got a couple hungry critters at home–anybody gotta jar? ---
