I seem to recall prior to the Iraq war estimates of U.S. casualties, both by the pro and con sides. I can’t seem to find the right words for a Google search to find what each side said BEFORE the war. I am speaking only of U.S. military casualties.

Does anyone have access to that info, i.e., the figures each side (various sources and various figures, obviously) used in its debate, and where I might find that on the web.

I DON’T mean to debate the war – I am studying the rhetoric of both sides before the war and how the rhetoric of each side has shifted.

Thanks for not turning this into a Great Debate!

L.S.
