Oh, he’s pretending it’s ABC news or something. Let’s see… we’ve got zero reason that I know of to think it’s Mossad, so I’m gonna say ETA. ---

On the one hand, all signs point to ETA. They’ve bombed civilians, this is just prior to a Spanish election, a recent attempt of theirs at bombing trains was interrupted, and more. On the other hand, that’s just what the Jews _want_ you to think. See, Mossad bombed these trains because … um … well, see, because there’s no evident motive, we _have_ to suspect them. This is a case of the dog barking in the night. Obviously. ---

Hey, before that happens, I’m interested to know why this guy thinks the Israelis would attack one of the few European nations that unreservedly supported the attack on one of their worst enemies; I still remember the poor civilians having to hide in shelters in their gas masks during GW1, prohibited by political pressure from defending themselves with their own crack armed forces. Surely if the eeeeevil Mossad wanted to hurt somebody, we’d be reading about the trains in Paris or Munich this morning. Not that I expect an answer at all. ---

Seriously, man. I’m a Jew. I’m a media exec. I was, at one point, a member of the White House Press Corps (a VERY junior one)(VERY). I just don’t get it. If we ran the world…wouldn’t we be doing that instead of blowing up trains in Spain? Where’s the percentage when it would be (if we were that powerful) much more effective to play currency games and damage Spain’s economy. ---

Maybe we bumped into eachother…when were you there? Okay, the debate. Mossad did it because the type of devices used were Daisy cutter claymore variants. Witnesses say the mines popped up 12 feet into the air befor exploding in fillament shrapnel. And Spain was slated to pull out it’s forces by the middle of the month. So there you have it. ---

1998-2000. Doubt if you will. Two questions: 1. What evidence is there that those items were used in the bombings? Just point me someplace. 2. If they WERE in use then what is your reasoning that leads you to believe that BECAUSE of their use the perpetrators must be Israeli. ---

Care to provide evidence for your contention (this is usually shortened to “cite?”). strangely Google reveals no hits under “daisycutter claymore spain”. And I thought a daisycutter was a massive fuck-off bomb that flattens entire buildings and makes a 50-foot crater. Furthermore, if Al Qaeda attacked Spain, what does Iraq have to do with it? ---

**Franklin Philly** , this board in general, and this forum in particular, has a rather higher standard for evidence than you perhaps are used to. If you wish to posit that Mossad was somehow responsible for the Madrid bombings you will need to provide more than your own assertions that his is so. If you know of a news preport that mentions the devices you cleim wer used, you should link to the report so we can see it for ourselves. If what you prefer to do is rail against “the Jews” or any other arbitrarily-defined group, it would be best to do so in the Pit. You aren’t likely to get any more traction there than you would here, and you may end up banned for hate speech, but it will at least be a more suitable venue. ---
