For those who are curious, Edrogan has a tendency to act like a bit of a nutjob. He’s a guy who [denied the Armenian Genocide and claimed that, instead, the Armenians were going to exterminate the Turks.](http://www.asbarez.com/78534/erdogan-accuses-armenians-of-%E2%80%98exterminating%E2%80%99-turks/) He also claimed that [it is actually impossible for Muslims to engage in genocidal acts, that the crimes going on in Darfur are a myth, and that the war against Hamas in Gaza is even worse than Darfur.](http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/nov/11/erdogan-muslims-turkish-sudan-gaza) To be sure, relations between Israel and Turkey have become strained as of late due to his particular style of bombast, but _war_? Outside of those hoping for it for their own reasons, nobody really thinks it’s a possibility let alone gleefully expects it. ---
