# Euphemisms for God (or Superdude watches religious programming for kicks)

I’m not religious by any stretch of the imagination, but I find religious programs fascinating. Mostly because these people (the broadcasters, not all religious people) are full-blown psychotics in front of a camera.

And, so, yesterday being Christmas Eve, I had the local services on while I was reading. I like background noise that I can actually ignore.

As I’m watching, though, I watch this preacher - whose wife had obviously been lobotomized, and could only speak the word “Amen” whenever he stopped talking - refer to God as…

The “Superhero of Heaven.”

I laughed my ass off for several minutes.

Anyone heard any other great nicknames for the alleged almighty?

Wait a minute . . . now that I think about it- this might be entirely wrong.

Isn’t God “normal” in Heaven, but a Superhero on Earth? Something about the yellow sun giving him powers? I think that’s right.
