Yeah, and sometimes you have “unhappy contact” with them. The homeless ones are “regulars”.

My husband does the opposite from most of you with the dog - he’s trained him to get really excited about getting his pills (which come in a treat) when he says “Hey Captain, you wanna get high?”

Not that phrase itself, but if I saw my neighbour during our walk I’d say that we were “going to drop some friends off at the park” and she would look at my dog and say “Monkeys? You got monkeys flying out your butt?” and my dog would get all excited and jump around.

Instead of saying ‘beef’ or ‘pork’, I say ‘deadcow’ and ‘deadpig’.

If I feel the need to announce that I have to go to the toilet, I say ‘I must defecate’ or ‘I must urinate.’

For some reason, people don’t like my euphemisms. 😕

Dead Guy – which means 7pm in our house. What time is dinner tonight? Half past Dead Guy.

(Comes from our habit of watching Law & Order, which started at 7pm and usually opened up with someone dead.)

Jehovah – which means we’re totally frustrated with something.
(From the stoning scene in Life of Brian)
