While I am watching to the bitter end - they really lost touch this final season - there were definitely moments of genius intertwined - makes perfectly good sense that Henry would fight the military nature of ‘this timelines’ Eureka - but sheesh - some of the stuff just seemed down right silly - and not in a good way. “I taste like chicken” - however, has to be one of the highlights… ---

My wife and I are enjoying right up until the end. Personally I think some viewers always seem to get upset when a show doesn’t follow the arc they would have written, rather than enjoying (or dropping) the show that is written. ---

It feels like they’re rushed and unprepared. I don’t know when production started vs the announcement of cancellation, but it feels like the had something all planned out, then had to rapidly adjust things. I feel that if this wasn’t the last season, this season might have been different, paced different, not quite so dark. ---

They had just wrapped filming on the episode that aired last night when the cancellation was announced. They were granted an extra episode to ‘wrap up’ - last night would have been the season finale. The last episode, which will air next week, was written in one day and then immediately filmed. I’m not expecting much out of it. ---

A lot of shows start half assing it that way when they know the curtain’s coming. Given your description of the situation, I’m REALLY not expecting much from the finale now. ---
