# Euro/german pop song help please.  (vague)

\<i heard this song recently at a performance where a bunch of teenage girls danced to it to their folk dance dances. does that make sense?

It was sung in english with a steady beat (Not the techno beat) by a guy who could possibly be german, I couldn’T really tell because of my hearing issues with my ear.

All I remember of the lyrics are:

I want you to stand by me \<repeated several times\>

\<i want to get drunk with you \<repeat many times\>

That is all \<i remember, but the song is in a repeat in my head.

any help would be wunderbar.
